Natures s.r.o. is a private, Slovak family biotechnology company. It specialises in the research, development and production of the natural polysaccharide, fungal beta-1.3/1.6-D-glucan and products containing it. Natures is a leader on the market in the Czech and Slovak Republics in processing oyster mushrooms and in the production of beta glucan, as proven by our range of innovative solutions for making our products. Our product range is always growing in our attempt to meet customer needs and market demand.
Research and development
In close cooperation with leading Slovak and foreign researchers, universities and scientific centres, we are constantly expanding our knowledge in the field of basic and applied research into beta glucan. On top of this, we work with healthcare workers and medical establishments to look for opportunities for clinical applications of beta glucan.
Quality has been the primary aim of the company Natures s.r.o. since its foundation. Our products are made under pharmaceutical supervision under CGMP conditions. This ensures the highest quality and safety of our products are met. On top of this, beta glucan in all our products is micronized, which means that its particles are small enough to enter the whole organism through the smaller intestine.
This approach was rewarded in 2005 with the “Slovak Gold” quality label for the products Beta Glucan 24C, Beta Glucan 120 and Beta Glucan 500
By obtaining the ISO 9001:2008 quality management system certificate in 2008, we confirmed our ambition to maintain and increase the quality of the production of beta glucan. We were the first Slovak manufacturer of beta glucan products to obtain the ISO 9001: 2008 quality management certificate.
We also confirmed our efforts to provide high quality and safe products by implementing and certifying our food safety system according to ISO 22000:2005 standard. The quality management and food safety systems are audited every year.
In 2009, we were the first producer of beta glucan in the region to obtain the BIO certificate for beta glucan produced from organically-grown oyster mushrooms.
