The “Natures” clinical studies prove the high effectivity of beta glucan for certain health problems:

1. Normalisation of the immune system using Beta Glucan 120 and Beta Glucan 500 in immuno-deficient patients with chronic diseases of the upper respiratory tract.

Number of patients followed:: 50 (25+25), men and women aged 18 to 75
Type of study: phase IV, placebo-control
In the followed patients, the diagnosis of chronic bacterial infections of the upper respiratory tract was confirmed.
Patients in the glucan and control groups were treated using a standard antibiotic and anti-infection treatment. Patients in the glucan group took for the first month 1 capsule of Beta Glucan 500 daily, followed by 1 capsule of Beta Glucan 120 daily, as well as the standard pharmacological treatment.
Results: after one month of treatment, the results were compared with the results from the initial examination. All the patients were cured. Patients from the control group continued to have immunodeficiency. In patients from the glucan group, the examined immunological parameters were normalised.
One month following the end of the treatment, some cases of relapse occurred in the control group. No relapse occurred in the glucan group.
Beta glucan supplements are well tolerated; their safety and non-toxicity have been confirmed.
2. Beta Glucan 500 in patients with oncological diseases undergoing radiotherapy and chemotherapy.

Type of study: phase IV, placebo-control
The diagnosis of stage 1 or 2 urogenital cancer and/ or breast cancer with signs of secondary immunodeficiency was confirmed.
Patients in the glucan and control group were treated with standard radio- and poly-chemotherapy. Patients in the glucan group took 1 capsule of Beta glucan 500 daily, as well as the standard pharmacology treatment.
